Delivery

Please check all goods carefully on receipt
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES

  • All goods should be checked upon receipt, and notification of any problems should be received within 48 hours.
  • Delivery dates given are APPROXIMATE and subject to alteration upon product availability.
  • Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. cannot be held liable for any losses due to the unexpected late arrival of any goods ordered for any cause whatsoever. In the light of this Tradesman should NOT be booked until goods are received and checked.
  • Delivery will be made to the nearest hard road point. Our delivery staff will be as helpful as possible but they will need assistance with heavy loads and we regret that they are NOT insured to carry goods up stairs. (All our delivery vans are single man operated)

PLEASE NOTE THAT WITHOUT EXCEPTION THE CUSTOMER WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH THE UNLOADING OF LARGE ITEMS. DELIVERY REFERS TO A ONE MAN GROUND FLOOR DELIVERY ONLY.

FAULTY/DAMAGED GOODS

  • Any claim for damage,shortage or loss in transit will not be considered unless damage,shortage or loss is notified in writing by email within 48 hours of delivery.Claims after this time period will not be acted upon by Bathrooms and Showers Ltd.When you notify us there is a problem with any goods we may request photographic evidence of the problem.
  • Acrylic,Steel, Resin and Cast Iron Baths and Shower Trays must be checked while the delivery driver is present. Once the driver has obtained a signature to confirm the items are in good condition any damages found will be the responsibility of the signatory.
  • All goods must be checked for imperfections prior to installation.
  • All goods which have been fitted, and then reported to be faulty must be inspected by the manufacturer before any claim can be considered.
  • Once a replacement has been agreed Customer Services will send a RETURNS FORM which needs to be completed by you.
  • Upon receipt of the faulty item(s), an inspection will be carried out to confirm that the fault highlighted on your returns form is correct. If a replacement has already been issued and the Fault/Damage is not confirmed you will be invoiced for the replacement and or the Faulty/Damaged item(s) will be returned to you.
  • Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. shall not be responsible for the cost of installation or removal of defective goods or the cost of installation of goods supplied in replacement or for any consequential expenses incurred.

DEFECTIVE MATERIAL

  • All goods and materials are sold subject to the terms imposed by the standard conditions of sale of their respective manufacturers. The goods and materials are sold with the benefit of any guarantees or warranties given by their respective manufacturers. Purchasers will be deemed to be aware of the conditions of sale of all manufacturers whether or not such conditions have been advertised or announced in literature or otherwise brought specifically to their attention.

TILE QUANTITIES/SHADE VARIATIONS

  • With all tiles shade variation can occur between different batch numbers. In the case of stone products, due to the fact it is a natural substance shade variation can occur in the same batch. For this reason we cannot quarantee a match especially if the goods are ordered on different occasions.
  • Excess tiles cannot be returned under any circumstances.
  • Tiles should be checked for defect and that the correct tiles have been supplied before fitting.
  • Once tiles have been fitted Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. can not accept any responsibility.

RETURNS POLICY /SALE GOODS

  • Please note that non stock items (special orders) cannot be returned
  • Goods with damaged packaging will not be accepted back
  • Any returns accepted will incur a 25% re-stocking charge as well as a collection and redelivery charge.
  • Re stocking charged is charged to us by our suppliers and is not negotiable.
  • We regret that goods bought in our “Sale”, “reduced to clear” or “ ex display” can not be returned or refunded under any circumstances.

CANCELLING ORDERS

  • To cancel an order Bathrooms and Showers must receive notice in writing and within 48 hours of delivery. Bathrooms and Showers Ltd are under no legal obligation to accept cancellations after that period

DO NOT WRITE ON THE PRODUCT PACKAGING

  • ANY GOODS RECEIVED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION OR A COMPLETED RETURNS FORM WILL BE REFUSED, RETURNED TO YOU AND WILL NOT BE SUBJECT TO A REFUND.

All Cancelled orders must be reported within 48 hours after receipt of the goods And under no condition can an order be cancelled where they have been a Sale,Reduced to Clear Ex Display or"Special Order":-

Special Orders include the following

  • All made to order Furniture
  • Any item(s) that are Bespoke (made to the customer’s specifications)
  • Specifically drilled baths
  • If you change your mind about the products or order goods in error you can return it to us subject to a 25% restocking charge
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that returned item(s) reach us in good condition.

"Under the Distance Selling Directive you as the customer have a duty of care for the products delivered to you whilst in your possession" Please ensure that you return the items exactly as you have received them ie: in the original packaging sealed with clear tape. Please make sure that the items are in an outer box or a jiffy bag. (THERE MUST BE NO WRITING OR LABELS ON THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING) Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. reserve the right to refund you in full less any amounts due by way of compensation to either repair the goods or to cover any loss. We do NOT accept liability for the transit of returned goods and therefore suggest that you take out carrier insurance.

TITLE OF GOODS

Title in Goods shall only pass from Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. to the Buyer upon full payment being made by the Buyer for all goods sold under the contract. In the event of delivery of the goods by instalment, title to the goods comprised in each instalment shall pass to the Buyer only upon payment being made to Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. for the full invoice value of that instalment. Whilst in accordance with this condition goods to the Buyer remain the property of Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. the Buyer shall nevertherless accept all responsibility for the safe custody, protection and preservation thereof, including insurance and immediately upon the goods coming into the possession of the Buyer or its Agent and pending payment of the full invoice value shall be liable to indemnify Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. in respect of all loss or damage of whatsoever nature affecting the goods.

Until full payment has been made, Bathrooms and showers Ltd reserve the right to re-possess any of the goods and thereafter re-sell the same.
